Red Bastard in Bosco
Ladies and Gentlemen!
Was in Boscotent last night, doing the Cabaret thing
- WORLD PREMIERE OF MISS BURLECO!!
It was very very good fun… And very brave… !!!
Always great to christen a new act in a good venue!
The bosco tent is an old circus tent. You have a sense of the tigers and performing poodles there from the early century- you smell the enormous Elephant poo. All performing for nothing, slaves to the circus – but having the dream of the carnival in their blood.
And so – last night, Rose felt herself home: a circus animal, inspite of – a) herself B) the bad wages and C) the enormous shite that follows the circus where it goes..
So hurrah! I will be there again over the festival – But it’s all run very secretly…
Every night has a theme, a password – and a lot of powerful alcoholic punch in pretty teapots.
