Hello ladies and gentlemen,
It was such a magical gig… I am relieved and relaxed now it’s over. The build up to it was ‘charged,’ but also hot to boiling point – in terms of tension and anxiety… The meditation and grounding techniques are a great help – but my humanity is stretched to its very limits with producing, rehearsing and sorting… then performing…
I can be a real little red hen…
But there was also the interdependency. The group of ‘co-creators,’ were marvellous. The audience was lovely. The support bands were dynamic and inspiring and swell to have around. The film crew did their job and were happy with their footage. The venue was terrifically supportive… And Fiodor was solid and dependable on sound. Thanks to everyone…
Most of all was the sense of the creative gold in the atmosphere during and after the gig… That’s the test… that’s the measure… are there new visions, new aspirations, new inspirations?… Dreams blossoming… Was there a birth of some beautiful unspoken longings?
Yes, to all these things… The vision of the show is being realised more and more with every gig – more and more revealing itself. It’s early days yet. But a great sense of where to go next – with the show – and the documentary – and literary works… So we just keep walking on…
The next day I went to a french Morrocan cafe by the canal and I read a book by David Lynch on ‘Meditation, Consciousness and Creativity.’ It was pure gold in my hands. Couldn’t have been a better present from Kim Porcelli, beautiful cellist… Recommend it a million times…
