entertainment at the sugar club
Rehearsed all morning and things are good with the girls.. am happy with the fun arising out of the good familiarity with the material.. still thinking about the poetry of auden… it followed me into the faces of the drugged out ghosts of rialto..
i saw an irish girl dressed in romanian clothes holding her two little sallow skinned girls… thought her story would be a good one to write…
then into a newsagent where you see all the corruption advertised on newspaper headlines - people just incredibly greedy - plus budget cuts for hospitals and children with learning difficulties…
Read a speech from gormley’s party conference. it was good.
would throw my lot in with the green’s… work with them again..
anyway, a lot in the pot.
