Had a sweet rest in an attic looking over the sunny winter rooves of the south of France… I was alone in the atelier: read ‘Revolutionary Road’, and - about the French Revolution - in, ‘Citizens,’ a book by Simon Schama.. Am studying the history of social change for my film and novel..

Today was my deadline for my second draft. Am meeting Andy Keogh at five today for the handing over of power ceremony…. Will also give a draft to Fiodor - and will be going out to recession dinner decadence afterwards to celebrate…
